Below is a description of each winery, and you can click here to see them mapped out on the Kansas City Wine Trail. The Albonée Country Inn & Winery: is a family owned winery nestled on a hillside in historic Independence overlooking the Little Blue Valley. Sample their wines in their tasting room and then enjoy a bottle of wine in the gazebo on the serene property setting. Make plans to stay at the Albonée Country Inn Bed and Breakfast on the property. Amigoni Urban Winery: is located on the first floor of the historic Daily Drover Telegram building in the Stockyards District of Kansas City. We call ourselves an "urban winery" because we specialize in small lots of handcrafted wines made in the city, with grapes harvested from our vineyards in Centerview, MO. We opened our Tasting Room in the city, as well, to allow more people, a more convenient way, to come and sample our wines. It's our way of encouraging you to "drink local," just like the sign hanging outside our front door says. Arcadian Moon Vineyards & Winery: Situated amongst four lakes on 75 acres in Higginsville, Arcadian Moon Vineyards & Winery is truly a rustic paradise — as well as one of the newest wineries in Missouri. Whether soaking up the views from the tasting room and deck overlooking the big lake, taking a relaxing walk on the grounds or having a picnic under a tree, once you're here you'll instantly be transported miles away from the hustle and bustle of the real world. Baltimore Bend Vineyard: Come experience a welcoming, fun environment whether you're a wine novice or a connoisseur. Baltimore Bend Vineyard in Waverly offers great wine without intimidation and pretense. Started in 1997, BBV now grows seven acres of American, French-Hybrid and Vitis Vinifera grape varieties. The winery, tasting room and gift shop opened in 2003, and offer consumers 17 different wines from dry to sweet. BBV is family owned and operated, and passionate about educating consumers about Missouri wines. Fahrmeier Family Vineyards: Since 1947, the Fahrmeier family has produced fresh seasonal produce, garden plants and flowers in the fertile hills of Lafayette County. True to the pioneering spirit of the region, Fahrmeier Family Vineyards in Lexington handcrafts unique artisanal wines of a character and quality not found anywhere else. Spend an afternoon sampling wines in our restored 1930s-era tasting barn, tour the vineyards, relax and take in the vistas on our gorgeous garden patio, or browse our gift shop featuring locally-sourced meats and cheeses, our own line of jams, jellies, pickles and salsas, and wine-related gifts. La Bella Winery : Providing quality wines is first and foremost for the family owned and operated La Bella Winery while also placing a special focus on providing a relaxing yet fun experience. At the vineyard and winery in Wellington you will find a tasting room where you can taste wines and find the ones you like -ranging from dry to sweet. After that you can stay in our inviting tasting room, or our personal favorite sit on the patio overlooking the lake that feeds our surrounding vineyards. If you call in advance we very well may have our imported wood-fired pizza oven going. Our pizza's crust and sauce are made from scratch while the toppings are made with only the freshest ingredients. You will also find a beautiful banquet hall for occasions like weddings, showers, class reunions, or business meetings. Odessa Country Winery: is a family winery nestled in a rolling vineyard approximately 35 miles east of Kansas City. The Odessa Winery specializes in a traditional approach to hand crafting local fruit and grapes into wine. This hands on approach brings the best out of fresh picked fruits such as apple, peach, pear, cherries and American varietals such as Norton, Concord and Diamond grapes. This extra attention results in many different semi-sweet to sweet, full bodied wines which are perfect for activities from food pairing to first dates. The winery has indoor seating and an out outdoor pavilion which are ideal for picnics and gatherings such as birthdays, celebrations and anniversaries. Stonehaus Farms Winery: was founded as and continues to grow as a family owned and operated business since 1996. Viticulture and the art of winemaking have continued to be our family's passion through the years. We strive to provide our customers with great wines, personal service and a warm and inviting family atmosphere. When visiting the Lee's Summit winery the sheer beauty of the vineyards, grounds, and buildings will take you back. We also offer two venue spaces available for groups up to 200 guests. Our latest addition is actually an expansion of our vineyard wedding facility. Located truly inside the vineyard is our "Amore Nella Vigne" facility, or "Love in the Vineyards" which should be available for use by mid-2014. Terre Beau Winery: occupies a 150-year-old pre-civil war church built in 1858. The Tulipana family purchased the building and remodeled the chapel in 2005. The winery is located 10 miles east of Lexington, in Dover, on the historic Santa Fe Trail.
